CGCS at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology addresses long-standing scientific problems that impede accurate predictions for changes in the global environment. The long-term goal of CGCS is to accurately predict environmental changes by utilizing scientific theory and observations to understand the basic processes and mechanisms controlling the global environment. The center publishes and distributes a Report Series of papers intended to communicate new results and provide reviews and commentaries on the subject of global climate change.
