    The root of this questions lies in the rumor mill of Maycomb. One of the rumors about Arthur "Boo" Radley is that his hands are stained red because he eats raw animal meat, specifically cats and squirrels. So, in answer to your question, if a person were to repeatedly eat raw animal meat and presumably have poor hygiene, this person's hands would be stained red. However, it's a rather far-fetched story.
