    I'm using the American Standard Version:Mark 1:15

"and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe in the gospel."

This statement by Jesus is one of the reasons the apostles thought they were living in the last days of the world.

    Mark 4: 39

"And he awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm."

This is the climax of the story of Jesus sleeping on the boat after preaching. It shows the extent of his powers—and also the need to trust.

    Mark 7:14

"And he called to him the multitude again, and said unto them, Hear me all of you, and understand"
This is just an introduction to what comes later: a series of teachings.

    Mark 11:17

"And he taught, and said unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but ye have made it a den of robbers."

This is the commentary after Jesus has overturned the table of the money changers.
