Tess of the d'Urbervilles Group
Question:
Pls where can i get detailed essays or materials that bother on the English Novel tradition? (charcteristics and movement inclusive)
I am writing a thesis on Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'urberville as a result, i am having problems as regards features of that novel that make it a part of the English novel tradition. I would also like pointers on other relevant details on the tradition.

When I did Tess in college, I always used the scholarly journal searches that most schools offer their students for free. Online journals like J-Stor, although sometimes difficult to search and sift through, often have fantastic information that covers a wide variety of topics. Also, even if you cannot find your exact topic, you should be able to find information that is relevant and useful in these sorts of journals. If the online sources don't work, your library should have tons of the books you can use!
