In reply to #1: Hello Urzula, There is definitely a learning curve. Moodle has a great number of features and capabilities, although, because it is opensource, it can be a bit cumbersome (many steps in uploading, making changes, etc) My suggestion is to develop all of your content first:

In reply to #3: I started with Blackboard back in 2002 with a community college and then with a client (we were developing on-line training materials in cross-cultural communications) There are advantages and disadvantages to both applications. We use the PLATO PLE lab, which also has curricula set in place. All I do is add the students and assign them a course. Then I choose assignments from the drop down menu. They complete them at home and I can even check their progress online. They take their tests in the school lab. Posted by karensanchezedd on Nov 13, 2008. |
