I need to write an assignment on the language features in this act does any one know of any?? anything you know will be a huge help!! Thanks

Have you looked into Petruchio's play on Kate's name?  He calls her "Queen of Cats"..."cat" and "kate" were used interchangeably as terms of endearment in Shakespeare's time.

There is also much twisting of words and meanings...especially later on in the play when Petruchio is finally getting through to Katrina.  The old man is a young maid, the sun is the moon, etc.
