Summary
It is four months later, and the trial is forgotten. Lorry is on his way to have Sunday dinner with the Manettes, whom he has befriended. The Manettes live in a quaint London house, where Dr. Manette receives his patients. Lorry arrives at the Manette house and talks with Miss Pross as he awaits the Manettes’ return.
