    Have you checked the literary analysis and summary notes on this story here at eNotes?  The editors and writers are actually very good, and there are many resources that you might not have considered as you peruse all that is there...characters, themes, symbols, setting, style, etc.  Take a look at the link below, and Good Luck!

    I liked the way in which the author concentrate all the events on only one hour and named the name as "The Story of an Hour". I think that all the events are connected to each other to make you imagine the whole story.
