Are there any lessons, study guide questions, vocabulary lessons, etc. about Star Wars? Things that could be used with the Star Wars books? Posted by diglennon on Nov 25, 2008. |

There are two resources that may help you on enotes. One is guide to the Star Wars Trilogy and another is a group dedicated to asking and answering questions on Star Wars. You can check them out at the links below. You can also try searching enotes using the white bar on the upper right of your computer screen. Commercially, there is a "Star wars and The Hero Quest Unit", also located at the third link below and at www.castlebooks.com/star-wars-lesson-plan.htm. Posted by ms-mcgregor on Nov 25, 2008. |

I've heard of Star Wars being used in Mythology units. There are a great many connections that can be made between the books/movies and ancient Greek or Roman myth. The National Endowment for the Humanities uses it in a grades 6-8 unit on Epic Heroes: http://edsitement.neh.gov/view_lesson_plan.asp?id=587 I'm sure there are others out there as well.
