Regarding "Silent Spring" and the banning of DDT. Recently the Wall Street Journal posted an opinion criticising the banning of DDT by the World Health Organisation. Disscussing this on facebook, someone said it was like a form of population control by WHO, killing millions of poor in undeveloped countries.
