Shakespeare Quotes
“OUT OF THE QUESTION”
“OUT OF THE QUESTION” is sometimes given to Shakespeare because a related phrase, “out of question,” was thought to originate in Love’s Labor’s Lost. The second edition of the OED, however, finds an identical use of “out of question” in 1586. Out of the question first appears around 1700.
