I understood why the parents of August Boatwright named her daughters after the months, but why did she skip the month of July?

There was April and May(the twins), April died, June, and August.

    Readers learn that the Boatwright women are named after these particular months of the year because Summer was their mother's favorite time of year.

    The author never explains why July was never chosen as a name for one of the daughters.

    cause july isnt a name, while may april june and august are actual proper names
