Seamus Heaney Group
Question:
A Very difficult question ! Years ago I read a passage written by Seamus Heaney and I cant remember what the quote is. It is about N. Ireland mindset.
The quote is not in a poem but in something else he wrote. Something along the lines of 'Each of us that grow up in Northern Ireland have an inbuilt map, area's, flags, motifs that we recognise...' as being from one side or the other. Its about division, and the segregated society of the north. If that rings a bell with anyone, please let me know the exact quote or even better ! where i can find it ! many thanks, John
