The soils  favorable for bean are those with medium texture (clay, clay - sandy), fertile, with neutral reaction (pH -from 6.5 to 7.5). Not indicated soils: heavy, cold, wet, or the sandy or saline.
Beans are generally less demanding compared to forerunner plant. The best results are obtained if beans  follow after the crops which are leaving the ground earlier and give the possibility, through preparatory work, to accumulate as much moisture in the soil (straw and grain crops weeding).
It is not indicated that forerunner plants to be sunflower or rapeseed  because they may encourage the spread of common diseases. Also, the beans can not follow even after corn treated with herbicides Triazines.

Although beans go well after itself, to prevent the spread of specific diseases, beans should not return to the same land until after a period of at least 4 years.
