What colored light helps beans grow better?

    Based on the fact that the color of something represents the color reflected and not absorbed, we could conclude that the color of beans, which means green, is not that color which beans would absorbe it in order to help them to grow better. So we have to look for another color to be absorbed, except green.

    Experiments proved that red light helps the beans' photosynthesis, the plant having an absorbtion maximum nearby the wavelength of  660nm, which is the red's value . The combination between red and blue light has proved to be very helpful to plant's flowering and fruiting. 

    Also another absorbtion maximum was recorded nearby the wavelength of blue light, which has about 450nm. Blue light proved it's efficiency in plant's growing, blue wavelengthes carrying a great amount of sunlight energy.
