Question:
What are a, b, c, and d in this chart?
There are 3 colomns. one is labeled Force, the second is labeled Direction of Force, and the Third is labeled Force depends upon. In the Force colomn there's Friction and Gravity. In the Direction of Force colomn there's a. and c. with blanks. Same with the third colomn except with b. and d. I don't know what they are. could you please help me?

B is Gravity
Direction is lateral for Friction
Direction is towards one another for Gravity
Friction depends on chemical attraction of the surfaces as well as the degree of smoothness or roughness of surface
Gravity depends on the mass of the objects and their distances.
As an aside Gravity refers to the Earth's attraction to objects within it's influence. Gravitation is the more correct general term for the force between objects with mass.
