    A is Friction

    B is Gravity

    Direction is lateral for Friction

Direction is towards one another for Gravity

Friction depends on chemical attraction of the surfaces as well as the degree of smoothness or roughness of surface

Gravity depends on the mass of the objects and their distances.

As an aside Gravity refers to the Earth's attraction to objects within it's influence. Gravitation is the more correct general term for the force between objects with mass.
