Explain the methods of teaching of a robot.

    This is an extremely complicated question.  Basically, however, one of the key questions is how the robot is programmed in the first place.  If you program the robot, you can have a great deal of control over how it "learns" and interacts with you.

    Basically, the robot will be scanning its memory banks to compare the current situation with others it has experienced.  The programmer will have set the rules about what it has stored in memory, what it looks for and how these elements are ranked.

    One of the greatest challenges will be in programming the robot to be able to generalize from one situation to another.
