Does a class 1 lever always exert a load force that is greater than an effort force?

    No, a class 1 lever does not always result in load being greater than the effort. In a class lever the fulcrum is situated between the load and the effort. the ratio of load and effort in this type of lever depends on the distances of load and effort from the fulcrum. When the both load and effort are equidistant, them the magnitude of load and effort will be same. When the distance of load is increased, it will become less than effort. And when  distance of effort is increased, it will become less than load. The exact relationship between effort, load, and their distances from fulcrum is given by the following equation.

    Load x Distance of load from fulcrum = Effort x Distance of effort from fulcrum
