There are many reasons for choosing synthetic proteins, but they are really important?

The biggest pro-natural-feed manufacturers have opposed to the introduction of synthetic proteins as, at their time, manufacturers of gas lighting had fought against the incandescent bulb. Their main argument consists in their belief thatproteins obtaind from mineral oils (petroleum) could cause cancer.

After this very serious argument, specialized bodies have held a great experiment. Among the carcinogens that might be found in the most dangerous petroproteine was considered to be by far benzopyrene

The most careful analysis conducted on the basis of highly improved methods have shown that lettuce contains 0.38 parts per one billion benzopyrene, coffee 1.3, 15.6 kale, spinach 7.41,  sun-flower oil 20.2 smoked meat 23 and air of large cities infinitely more (London 23, Sapporo580), while normal paraffins ,themselves, contain only 0.50 parts per one billion benzopyrene. Thorough international studies have shown that proteins on the basis of normal paraffins do not produce any kind of disease over a period of 19 successive generations of rats and 28 generations of quail.
