Yes there are prerequisites for probiotics and they are: - they have to have human origin - they have to resist to biliary and pancreatic secretion, stomach acidity and methods of manufacturing products - theyhave to stick on intestine epithelial cells in order to resist to intestine movements and to colonize, at least temporarily, the intestine - to product antimicrobial substances operative against pathogenic bacteria
