Which scientific discoveries were made accidentally?

Some accidental discoveries include velcro, penicillin, X-rays, vulcanization (increasing the strength) of rubber, synthetic (artificially made) dyes, rayon, teflon, saccharin, and the discovery of iodine and helium.
