Which pollutants lead to indoor air pollution?

Indoor air pollution, also known as "tight building syndrome," affects modern, high-energy efficiency buildings. This condition results when there is limited outside air exchange (inadequate ventilation), chemical contamination, and/or microbial (microorganism) contamination. Indoor air pollution can produce various symptoms in a building's inhabitants, such as headaches, nausea, and irritations of the eyes, nose, and throat.
