The sites of low-level commercial and military radioactive waste disposal are Idaho Falls, Idaho; Livermore, California; Albuquerque and Los Alamos, New Mexico; Amarillo, Texas; Weldon Springs, Missouri; West Valley and Niagara Falls, New York; Sheffield, Illinois; Massey Flats and Paducah, Kentucky; Oak Ridge, Tennessee; Aiken and Barnwell, South Carolina; Beatty and Las Vegas, Nevada; Richland, Washington; and Fernald and Piketon, Ohio.
