Did dinosaurs and humans live at the same time?

No. Dinosaurs first appeared in the Triassic Period (about 220 million years ago) and disappeared at the end of the Cretaceous Period (about 65 million years ago). The first species of humans, Australopithecus afarensis, appeared about 4 million years ago. Modern humans (Homo sapiens sapiens) appeared only about 35,000 to 40,000 years ago.
