However, The Guinness Book of Records reports that the tiny island of Oodaq, just 100 feet (30 meters) across, is situated the furthest north. Oodaq sits at 83 degrees, 40 minutes north latitude, just 438.9 miles (706 kilometers) from the North Pole.
