Project 2
Air Pressure: How can air pressure be measured?

Purpose

Changes in the atmosphere are the cause of most of our weather. The purpose of this project is to build a barometer that shows changes in air pressure. When air is warmed, it rises and the air pressure decreases. If the air is cooled, it sinks and air pressure increases. Low air pressure usually indicates stormy weather, and high air pressure usually indicates fair weather. By observing air pressure trends, you will be able to predict upcoming weather conditions.
