One is carbohydratesA compound consisting of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen found in plants and used as a food by humans and other animals., which give your body energy. They are present in starches, including potatoes, rice, bread, peas, and beans. They are also in milk and fruit, as well as in fiber from grains and vegetables. Your body uses carbohydrates to manufacture the zip you need to win a race or hit a home run.
