Purpose/Hypothesis
In this experiment, you will observe the breathing rate of goldfish as they swim in water with different levels of dissolved oxygen. [NOTE: It is recommended that you perform this experiment only if you already have access to an aquarium with four to six goldfish and only with the permission of a responsible adult. This experiment will not harm the fish as long as you limit the duration of the experiment and return the fish to the main aquarium afterwards.]
