Purpose/Hypothesis
In this experiment you will discover what pigments are present in various plants using chromatographyA method for identifying the components of a substance based on their characteristic colors., an identification technique based on color. You will cut up various plants and boil them in water, then add a small amount of alcohol to help release the pigments from the plants.
