Financial Support for Graduate Work in the Marine Sciences
(Four Year College, University/Grant)
Purpose: Awards up to $1500 to assist graduate students conducting research in the Marine Sciences. Priority given to students working on the first two years of their research. Deadline for summer session studies or research is March 15; deadline for next regular academic year is April 1. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Financial Support for Marine or Maritime Studies
(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Grant)
Purpose: Restricted to Connecticut residents who are students at state maritime schools, or Connecticut residents majoring in Marine Sciences at any college or university, or residents of any state majoring in Marine Sciences at a Connecticut college or university. No restrictions on course of study or location for Connecticut residents who are merchant seafarers or their dependents attending an institution of higher learning. Application deadline for academic year is April 1. For summer session: March 15. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
