Thoroughbred Horse Racing's United Scholarship Trust

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Awards for those majoring in an equine industry-related field of study, or journalism. One renewable scholarship and three one-time grants. Must describe in writing, on video, audiotape, or film how the expansion of gaming in Washington state has affected the thoroughbred industry. Focus: Animal/Veterinary Sciences; Journalism Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered.
