WSTLA American Justice Essay Scholarship Contest

Washington State Trial Lawyers Association Presidents' Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Recipients are selected based on demonstrated academic achievement and planned advancement toward a higher degree; a documented need for financial assistance; a history of achievement despite having been a victim of injury or overcoming a disability, handicap, or similar challenge; a record of commitment to helping people in need; a plan to apply higher education to helping others; and Washington State residency. May visit Web site: http://www.wstla.org. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

WSTLA American Justice Essay Scholarship Contest

Purpose: WSTLA is committed to foster an awareness and understanding of the American justice system. The essay contest deals with advocacy in the American justice system and related topics. Three scholarships are available, at the law student, college and high school levels. Topics are selected annually and will be available in September of each school year. May visit Web site at http://www.wstla.org. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
