Wal-Mart Associate Scholarships

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: For graduating high school seniors who are employees or dependents of employees for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Based on financial need, academic progress, school and community involvement and leadership. A one-time, non-renewable award of $3000 for tuition, books fees, and on-campus room and board at an accredited two- or four-year U.S. institution.Qualif.: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident, a graduating high school senior with at least a 2.5 cumulative g.p.a., a Wal-Mart associate or dependent of an associate, and be able to demonstrate financial need. Additional qualifications apply.

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: For employees of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. who have been out of high school at least one year. Award is based on financial need and community involvement. Up to $2000 for 2-year institutions, up to $3000 for 4-year institutions, dependent on the number of credit hours enrolled, for tuition, books fees, and on-campus room and board at an accredited two- or four-year U.S. institution. Renewable up to 4 semesters.Qualif.: Applicant must be: employed by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. at least 6 months; out of high school at least one year; a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident. Additional qualifications apply.

Walton Family Foundation Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: For graduating high-school seniors who are dependents of Wal-Mart employees. Employee must be full time for at least one year. Based on academic progress, financial need, school and community involvement and leadership. A $13,000 renewable award for tuition, books fees, and on-campus room and board at an accredited two- or four-year U.S. institution. Qualif.: Applicant must be: dependent of a full-time, one-year employee of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., a graduating high school senior with at least 22 composite ACT or 1030 combined SAT (critical reading + math), a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident. Additional qualifications apply.
