Purpose: Award for practical nursing students who are Virginia residents. Must attend a nursing program in Virginia. Recipient must agree to work in Virginia after graduation. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Recipients may reapply up to three years for an award. Focus: Nursing Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: One-time award for nurse practitioner/nurse midwife students who have been residents of Virginia for at least one year. Must attend a nursing program in Virginia. Recipient must agree to work in an underserved community in Virginia following graduation. Recipient must work in this area for a period of years equal to the number of annual scholarships received. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Focus: Nursing Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
