V.E.T.S. Annual Scholarship
(Four Year College, Postgraduate, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)
Purpose: Scholarships for graduating high school seniors, junior college students, continuing university (college) students, graduate students, and vocational school students. Applicants must be a veteran, or a spouse, child, grandchild of a veteran and be a U.S. citizen. Must have maintained a 3.0 grade point average with no failing grades in any subject. Amount awarded is usually $500, but Board of Directors can grant special scholarships up to $1500 based on need and qualifications. Must apply by April 1 of every year, open only to residents of California, Arizona, and Washington. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
