Martin Luther King Physician/Dentist Scholarships

(University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Renewable award available to New Jersey residents enrolled full-time in a medical or dental program. Several scholarships are available. Dollar amount varies. Must be a former or current EOF recipient, a minority or from a disadvantaged background. Applicant must attend a New Jersey institution and apply for financial aid. Focus: Health and Medical Sciences; Dental Health/Services Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Purpose: Grants up to $4150 per year. Must be a New Jersey resident for at least twelve consecutive months and attend a New Jersey institution. Must be from a disadvantaged background as defined by EOF guidelines. EOF grant applicants must also apply for financial aid. EOF recipients may qualify for the Martin Luther King Physician/Dentistry Scholarships for graduate study at a professional institution. Focus: Health and Medical Sciences; Dental Health/Services Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
