William L. Callison Scholarship
(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)
Purpose: One $8000 scholarship is available to junior and senior undergraduates who have demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities and demonstrated a significant interest in the pulp and paper industry. Award is given in two yearly $4000 increments. Must attend a college or university that offers pulp and paper programs or have a TAPPI Student Chapter. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: Up to four $1000 scholarships will be made available to undergraduate juniors and seniors and graduate students who have a demonstrated interest in a career in the coating and graphic arts industry. Must be a TAPPI student member or a member of a TAPPI Student Chapter. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: Several $1000 and $2000 scholarships are available to juniors and seniors who demonstrate an interest in the pulp and paper industry or, especially, the corrugated container industry. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: Two $1500 scholarships will be awarded to juniors or rising seniors who are enrolled in an engineering or science program. Must demonstrate a significant interest in the pulp and paper industry, be a member of a TAPPI Student Chapter, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. Purpose: One $2500 scholarship is available to a full-time student who is at or above the level of sophomore and has a strong desire to pursue a career in environmental control as it relates to the pulp, paper and related industries. Purpose: One $1000 scholarship is available to a high school senior or college freshman, sophomore or junior for the study of a field of activity covered by the Polymers, Laminations and Coatings Division. Applicants must provide a demonstration of responsibility and maturity through a history of part-time and summer employment. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. Purpose: One $1000 scholarship is available to a full-time student who is at least a first semester sophomore in the upcoming fall if an undergraduate, or in the first semester (or higher) of a graduate program in the upcoming fall if a graduate student. Must not have received the award in the preceding year. Must be enrolled in a program preparatory to a career in the pulp and paper industry. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student.
