Medicus Student Exchange

(Four Year College, University/Grant)

Purpose: One-time award to students of Swiss nationality or parentage. U.S. residents study in Switzerland and Swiss residents study in the U.S. Awards to undergraduates are based on merit and need; those to graduates based only on merit. Open to all U.S. residents. Must be proficient in foreign language of instruction. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to persons of the following ethnic groups: Swiss.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 1. Maximum no. of awards: 5. Minimum award amount: $2000. Maximum award amount: $10000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 4 grant(s), totalling $20,000. Pellegrini Scholarship Grants

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Grant)

Purpose: Award to students who have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and show financial need. Must submit proof of Swiss nationality or descent. Must be a resident of Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania. Fifty grants of up to $2500. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to persons of the following ethnic groups: Swiss.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 50. Minimum award amount: $500. Maximum award amount: $2500. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 64 grant(s), totalling $155,000. Zimmermann Scholarships

(Postgraduate, University/Grant)

Purpose: Merit award to academically outstanding graduate and post-graduate students. Must submit proof of Swiss parentage or nationality. Must reside in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania or Delaware. Application deadline is March 31. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to persons of the following ethnic groups: Swiss.
