Casey Scholars Program

(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: An award to students entering the nursing field and to current caregivers pursuing advanced and graduate training. Scholarship recipients will commit to work at Suburban Hospital for a period of time, generally a year, but may vary. A GPA of 3.0 is required. Applications are accepted in October and April. Suburban Hospital Healthcare System Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award to students pursuing heath care-related careers. Must be resident of Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. Employment/volunteer experience in a health care-related environment is preferred. Minimum 2.5 GPA required. Deadline: April 21. Focus: Nursing; Therapy/Rehabilitation; Health and Medical Sciences Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
