Family Practice Resident Rural Scholarship Loan Program

Purpose: Renewable loan for family practice residents who are in first or second year of family practice training in an Oklahoma family practice or medical program. Loan is forgivable if student practices after graduation for one month in rural community per each month the loan was received. Loan is $36,000 to be used over three years. Loan forgiven if student practices in Oklahoma community with population of 7,500 or less for each year the loan was received. Scholarship totaling $42,000 for four years. Deadline: March 31.
