(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)
Purpose: Merit and need-based award available to students ages 17 to 22 who are members, children, or grandchildren of members of the Sons of Norway. School transcript required. Financial need is key criterion for award. Must have minimum 3.0 GPA. One-time award of $500 to $750. Qualif.: Applicant must be: 17-22 years old. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to persons of the following ethnic groups: Norwegian.

Purpose: Available to American students 18 or older interested in studying Norwegian heritage, or any Norwegian students interested in studying American heritage. Selection of applicants is based on a 500-word essay, educational and career goals, community service, work experience, and GPA. Must have minimum 3.0 GPA. Focus: Area/Ethnic Studies Qualif.: Applicant must be: age 18 or older. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: community service, designated career field.
