San Antonio International Piano Competition

(Postgraduate/Prize)

Purpose: International piano competition for 10 semi-finalists, ages 20-32. Cash awards, ranging from $1000 for 5th prize to $15,000 for 1st prize, are determined through a series of daily concerts, with an additional award for the best performance of a commissioned work. Application fee: $65. Deadline: March 31. Additional awards: $500. Competition held every three years. Applications for the 2006 competition will be available online by September 2005.
