College Bound Fund Academic Promise Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award to graduating high school seniors. Eligibility based on financial need and SAT/ACT scores. Must maintain specified grade point averages each year for renewal. Must be Rhode Island resident and attend college full time. Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). FAFSA deadline is March 1. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Rhode Island Higher Education Grant Program

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Grant)

Purpose: Grants for residents of Rhode Island attending an approved school in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico. Based on need. Renewable for up to four years if in good academic standing. Applications accepted January 1 through March 1. Several awards of variable amounts. Must be U.S. citizen or registered alien. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 10000. Maximum no. of awards: 12000. Minimum award amount: $300. Maximum award amount: $1400.
