(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: To benefit college-bound Rhode Island high school graduates whose parents did not have the benefit of attending college. Must be enrolled in an accredited nonprofit postsecondary institution offering either a two-year or a four-year college degree. Qualif.: High school students not considered.

Bach Organ and Keyboard Scholarship Fund

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: For organ or keyboard musicians attending four-year colleges and universities. Applicants must demonstrate good grades and financial need. Must include music tape. Must be Rhode Island resident attending college as a music major. Focus: Music Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered.

Purpose: Award for students enrolled in a textile program at the following schools: Dartmouth, Philadelphia University, North Carolina State, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Auburn. Preference given to children of members of National Association of Textile Supervisors. Qualif.: High school students not considered.

Antonio Cirino Memorial Art Education Fellowship

(Postgraduate, University/Fellowship)

Purpose: Provides support to Rhode Island artists wishing to become educators. For writers, composers, and actors, with preference to visual artists. Rhode Island School of Design students or graduates excluded. Financial need a must. Must be a Rhode Island resident of at least 5 years and include proof of residency. Focus: Arts; Education; Performing Arts; Filmmaking/Video; Music; Peace and Conflict Studies; Literature/English/Writing Qualif.: High school students not considered.

Constant Memorial Scholarship for Aquidneck Island Residents

Purpose: One-time scholarships between $2000 and $5000 are awarded to benefit visual art and/or music major entering his/her sophomore year in college. Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need and a three year residency in Portsmouth, Middletown, or Newport, RI. Focus: Arts; Music Qualif.: High school students not considered. Purpose: One-time awards between $2000 and $5000 are awarded to encourage personal growth through travel, study, and public service programs for college sophomores and juniors. Must be a Rhode Island resident. Award is for educational enrichment outside of the classroom: therefore, the awards are not to be used for school tuition. Purpose: For students enrolled in toolmaking, design, metals fabrication, or other jewelry-related courses of study in colleges, universities, or nonprofit accredited technical schools on the postsecondary level. Purpose: To benefit practicing nurses (RN's) enrolled in an accredited BSN program in Rhode Island. Renewable award. Must be a Rhode Island resident and beginning junior year or higher. Must have proof of nursing license. Deadlines: April 1 and October 1. Focus: Nursing Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: designated career field.
