(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Prize)

Purpose: One-time award presented to outstanding high school seniors with learning disabilities in recognition of extraordinary leadership, scholarship, enterprise, and service to others. Candidates must be registered with the Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic for at least one year prior to the filing date of February 21. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award intended for the learning impaired. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: community service.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 6. Minimum award amount: $2000. Maximum award amount: $6000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 6 prize(s), totalling $24,000. Purpose: Awards for legally blind college seniors, awarded on basis of leadership, scholarship, enterprise, and service to others. Candidates must be registered with Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic for at least one year prior to filing date of February 21 and have an overall GPA of 3.0 or equivalent. Applicants need not plan to continue their education beyond a bachelor's degree. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award intended for the blind. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: community service.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 9. Minimum award amount: $1000. Maximum award amount: $6000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 9 prize(s), totalling $30,000.
