Robert Bilmanis and Dr. Alfred Bilmanis Memorial Scholarship

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: One-time award offered to a qualifying full-time student of Latvian heritage who has selected "investigative journalism" as a career and has enrolled in sophomore year or later in a four-year college or university. Selection criteria will include a thesis on the history of Latvia as specified by the sponsor. Focus: Journalism Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to persons of the following ethnic groups: Latvian.
