Excellence in Student Teaching Awards

(Four Year College, Postgraduate, University/Prize)

Purpose: Award honoring the early professional achievements of undergraduate or graduate students engaged in student teaching during the current year. Must be members of Phi Delta Kappa International. Contact a PDK chapter for an application. Focus: Education Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Phi Delta Kappa International Graduate Fellowships in Educational Leadership

(University/Fellowship)

Purpose: One-time graduate fellowship for members of Phi Delta Kappa pursuing a degree in educational leadership. Must have minimum 3.0 GPA. Submit all graduate transcripts, synopsis of PDK activities, and position paper describing role as educational leader. Focus: Education Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 7. Minimum award amount: $500. Maximum award amount: $1500. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 5 fellowship(s), totalling $4,750. Scholarship Grants for Prospective Educators

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Grant)

Purpose: One-time award available to high school seniors in the top 50% of their graduating class. Applicants must plan to major in education and pursue a teaching career. Contact local Phi Delta Kappa chapter for more information. Do not send application to headquarters. Must have minimum 2.5 GPA. Focus: Education Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 30. Minimum award amount: $1000. Maximum award amount: $5000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 30 grant(s), totalling $30,000.
