PFLAG Scholarship Awards Program

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Must be Georgia resident or enrolled in a postsecondary institution in Georgia. Applicant must have turned 16 by April 1 in order to be eligible. Must be openly gay, lesbian, bisexual or transsexuals or advocates of the same. Application must be postmarked by March 31. Qualif.: Applicant must be: age 16 or older. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 5. Maximum no. of awards: 10. Minimum award amount: $1500. Maximum award amount: $3000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 7 scholarship(s), totalling $21,000.
