Purpose: Award for research done in U.S. or Canadian laboratory and dedicated to improving quality of life for individuals with spinal cord injury and spinal cord dysfunction and to finding an eventual cure for paralysis. Must submit curriculum vitae, ten copies of grant application. Deadline is September 1. Focus: Biology; Health and Medical Sciences; Therapy/Rehabilitation; Animal/Veterinary Sciences; Engineering/Technology; Engineering-Related Technologies Qualif.: High school students not considered.
