(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: One-time award for active, laid-off, retired, or disabled members in good standing or spouses (including life partners and their children), natural children, or grandchildren of active, laid-off, retired, disabled, or deceased members in good standing. Qualifying members must have been active in AFSCME Local 75 one year or more as of March 1 of the year in which the scholarship application is filed or have been a member one year or more preceding the date of layoff, death, disability, or retirement. Part-time enrollment (minimum six credit hours) will be considered, but only for active members, spouses (or life partners), or laid-off members. Additional essay required. College students must have minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA; graduating high school seniors must have minimum 3.0 GPA and combined achievement test scores of 1100++FA. Purpose: One-time award for employees or natural, adopted, or step children between the ages of 17 and 25 of current Bank of the Cascades employees. Children must be high school graduates with minimum 3.00 GPA. Employees must have been continuously employed at Bank of the Cascades for one year at no fewer than 20 hours per week as of the March 1 scholarship deadline. For use at Oregon colleges only. Tykeson Family Scholarship

Purpose: Renewable award available to children aged 23 years and under of full-time employees who have been employed for at least two years prior to March 1 of application year. Purpose: Applicant may be either high school graduate (including home-school graduate) or GED recipient. Applicant or applicant's parents/legal guardians must be active members of the Umatilla Electric Cooperative (UEC) and be receiving service from UEC at their primary residence. For study of science, computer science, engineering or mathematics. Must submit certification of tribal enrollment or American-Indian ancestry. Preference for those who have demonstrated commitment to the American-Indian community. Focus: Computer Science/Data Processing; Engineering/Technology; Physical Sciences and Math Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.

Awards may be used at Oregon colleges only, and may be received for a maximum of twelve quarters of undergraduate study. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: designated career field. Student must be affiliated with Kimwood Corporation or Middlefield Village.
